Dave is one of the most respected percussionists in the U.K. 

His work encompasses a wide spectrum of musical styles from leading West End and touring musicals to Jazz, Pop and Classical.

His talents are always in demand with many leading artists and music ensembles, in the U.K and throughout Europe.

David was a prize winning graduate of the Royal Academy of Music , London – winning the prestigious James Blades Prize for Timpani in both 1992 and 1993. He was also awarded a special Bursary award from the Principal of the R.A.M, international cello soloist, Lynn Harrell, to receive private timpani tuition from Kurt-Hans Goedicke (Principal Timpanist Emeritus, London Symphony Orchestra).

David has since worked with many of the leading symphony orchestras throughout the U.K and Europe, including the BBC National Orchestral of Wales, British Philharmonic Orchestra, World Festival Orchestra, London Musicians’ Symphony Orchestra and in 1995, the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra.

Throughout his professional career David has performed under some of the most eminent conductors in the world, including Sir Colin Davis, James Levine, Maris Jansons, Yuri Temirkanov, Sir Simon Rattle, Michael Tilson-Thomas & Leonard Slatkin.

David has often been seen performing on tours all over the continent with various classical, musical theatre & Rock/Pop artists including Katherine Jenkins, The Opera Babes, Amici Forever, Bryn Terfel, The Beautiful South & The Moody Blues to name a few, as well as being involved with session recordings for film scores.

David is presently Timpanist with the British Philharmonic Orchestra and percussionist/drummer on the record
breaking National tour of Disney's 'Beauty and the Beast'

Dave is a Roland Musical Instruments Artist.
