NYU Percussion Program presents Broadway preparation sessions will include drum-set, multi-percussion, mallets, world percussion, timpani, and synthesizer presented by original musicians who “created the book”. On the final day the culmination of the seminar will include a roundtable discussion and Question and Answer sessions with leading contractors, conductors,percussionists, managers, and special guests. Eight Broadway shows will be presented, in-depth by the percussionists who developed the original book with participating NYU students and other selected participants. Saturday will be SHOW DAY: each participant will visit and tour pits of a Broadway show. After watching the show from the audience, dinner will be served with the percussionist who played the show.
