National Youth Arts Wales, in conjunction with Rhondda Cynon Taff, will be holding its annual Percussion Workshop on Sunday 25th November 2007. The event will take place in Pontypridd High School and participation is free of charge.
The workshop is open to musicians of all abilities, aged 11 to 21, who will receive tuition from a team of professional percussionists in three separate classes. During the day, advanced players of around Grade VIII standard will have the opportunity to audition for the National Youth Wind Orchestra of Wales, National Youth Brass Band of Wales and National Youth Jazz Wales.
