Noise Ensemble Explodes onto stages throughout the UK this Autumn Coming soon to a venue near you, the percussive talents of NOISE ENSEMBLE are heading into town with a crash, a bang and a drum roll. Theatres throughout the UK are hosting one of the most exciting new shows of the year when NOISE ENSEMBLE explodes onto stage. Noise Ensemble is set to do for drumming what Riverdance did for Irish dancing and has already been a huge hit internationally. Ethan Lewis Maltby’s contemporary score is performed by 10 sexy young virtuoso percussionists playing a wide range of instruments from marimbas and maracas to triangles and tom-toms. The show has already attracted international attention and this high-octane performance will not fail to amaze audiences throughout the UK. Noise Ensemble is ideal for audiences of all ages and is particularly well suited to family and school groups. A totally new breed of theatrical experience, Noise Ensemble explodes onto stage in a dynamic industrial setting with stunning lighting, video, laser and pyrotechnic effects launching an all-out assault on the senses! “guaranteed to set your foot tapping and your head nodding” Composer and Musical Director Ethan Lewis Maltby’s passion for percussion has been known to the public since he was the first percussionist to win the BBC Young Musician of the Year Award. His musical career has combined his love of film and dramatic writing and his passion for live performance. Ethan has penned scores for several short films screened at both the Edinburgh and British Short Film Festivals as well as a range of song cycles, full choral works, intimate stage pieces and large musicals. “captures the beat of your own heart” Chris Baldock is one of the UK’s leading choreographers and he has worked in a variety of spheres including theatre, television, music videos and corporate promotions. The original resident director of the smash-hit musical Starlight Express adds his own style to this unique show. Chris has choreographed just about every top act in the country from Kim Wilde to Sarah Brightman as well as providing the moves for Top of the Pops and Faking It amongst other TV programmes. “A truly all over experience”Lighting the fuse on this groundbreaking production is Production Designer Ben M Rogers whose impressive career has spanned dance, opera, drama, musical theatre as well as a host of international live events including Grease, Chicago, Evita, Fame, The Rat Pack Live, Hollywood Symphonic, and Jesus Christ Superstar. “quite simply percussive geniuses” Daring and elegant, comic and sublime, Noise Ensemble is this season’s must-see show. Feel the beat as the show continues to tour nationwide. Call the venue Box Office for tickets.
