Birmingham Percussion Daybpd
Following the stunning success of last year’s event,  we have great pleasure in announcing that our 2nd day Percussion Day will take place on the Sunday 30th September 2007.

We are thrilled to confirm the participation of the fantastic Spanish Percussion Duo “Elements” Gustavo Gimeno, (Principal Percussionist at The Concertgebauw Orchestra)  and Lorenzo Ferrandiz. Beside their concert, Gustavo and Lorenzo will give clinics in orchestral percussion and contemporary mallet percussion respectively.

We are also delighted to welcome Matthew Perry (principal Timpanist of the Royal Philarmonic Orchestra) who will be giving a Timpani clinic.

The great Darabuka Virtuoso Numan Elymer will give a lecture/clinic about the art of playing the Darabuka. and if that is not enough we are really, really glad to say the the great UK drummer Ralph Salmins will  be with us in this very special occasion.

As well of  the Gamelan, Samba and the Conservatoire's Percussion Ensemble. Also  trade stands for all your percussive needs.

A solid day for all percussionists! Why not pre-book and reserve your tickets now online. There is a *** discount for bookings made before September!
