An Evening of Music & Dance, plus sets from Ghanaian percussion ensemble Sekgura
 31 May – 2 June

Flautist Lucy Forde & dancer Charlotte Spencer team up for a music and dance piece inspired by Hungarian-Jewish author Frigyes Karinthy’s tale Chains or Chain-Links, published in a volume of short stories in 1929 entitled Everything is Different. Focusing on its theory that there are only six degrees of separation between any two people in the world, the work looks at the simple connections we make in everyday life, magnifying these points to find beauty in the details.

Everything is Different will be followed by performances by green bean dance & MIKS plus sets from Ghanaian percussion ensemble Sekgura, experimental band Misirlou and jazz outfit Outhouse.  The Blue Elephant Gallery will be displaying works by Maisie Kendal.
