Dave Danford Debut solo album

rhythmic renaissance Dave Danford released his long-awaited debut solo album during a concert with the Cory Band on Saturday 3rd March 2007 at Morley Town Hall, Leeds. Dave performed tracks from the album alongside a varied programme from the band which includes works by Philip Sparke, Elgar Howarth, Wagner and Verdi.

Trinity Guildhall has recently launched a new Percussion syllabus - as part of the project to develop new Trinity Guildhall exams following the amalgamation of Trinity and Guildhall in 2004.

IKMMA 2007 Wroclaw, September 14th - 23rd

The III. International Katarzyna Mycka Marimba Academy (IKMMA) 2007 will take place again in Wroclaw. Situated in the south-west of Poland, well connected city with its strong cultural and historical background, wonderful cousine offers participants a great opportunity to socialise and make friends. Daily plans for active participants will include the possibility to receive a private lesson every day, chamber music rehearsals under supervision of IKMMA professors and several hours for individual practice.
